| So, here it is, sitting in an absolutely foreign
environment (a parking lot). It has a bikini top, half
doors, and generally as little chrome as possible. |
| The view from the rear... Note the silly bumper some
previous owner welded to the rear cross-member!!!
It's like "hello, anyone home?". Whoever did it had a
tow hook bolted to the bumper, and of course the
bumper is halfway through the process of tearing off.
I'm going to cut it off as soon as I get my hands on a
torch. |
| Same picture, sans doors (which is how I prefer to
go wheeling). I've got to replace the spare tire -- it's a
slightly smaller BFG All Terrain. |
| Here we go, this is more like it. A little closer to the
"natural environment" of the Jeep.
This is testing the so-so articulation of my Jeep,
albeit with the front sway-bar still connected. |
| Here's a picture of my son, Nicholas (2 years old)
sitting in Daddy's Jeep...He likes to scramble around inside while I'm
working on it (in fact, I installed my hand throttle
with him entertaining himself in that manner for the
entire hour it took).

| So, a while ago they were doing some construction
work outside the office. We were looking out the
window, and I voiced the idea that this concrete pile
looked like the kind of thing that would be fun to
drive over. One of my co-workers looked at me, and bet me a
buck that I couldn't do it.
Needless to say, it was a challenge I couldn't refuse...
