CAD Components
I'm putting versions of the individual brackets and parts that I used to build the MicroRaptor model up on my web site. I'm including the five types of bracket, the AX-12, and the foot in each package.
I've provided 3 different versions of each package:

You might want to ad your models to rhino3dmodels.com before someone else grabs them.
You put them under collections and on the JPG thumbnails put a link to your blog.

Opps. Just noticed that the Rhino models are MESH's.
Any chance you can convert them to NURB's?

Is there an automated way to convert them? I'd love to, but I don't know how, other than to do it manually, which is going to take a long time...

I found the MeshToNurb command, but I'm not really happy by what it produces. I think for now I'll leave it the way it is...

You would have to redraw them as NURBS. Takes time but you would have something you could send out to CNC machine tool for manufacture.

True, I could do that, but for this robot it would be a waste of time, since the components all come from a kit that I am going to buy...
Now for my next robot, the full-blown raptor, I do plan on doing that sort of thing, and of course the CAD model for it is done from scratch with NURBS.
